Shalom Tribe Church Network

Carrying passion to host God's presence where we live and work.

We meet in our house of prayer in Carlisle, PA, in homes across the region, and wherever the Lord sends us to gather together in His name.

Our Model: Acts 2:42-47

"All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and prayer. A deep sense of awe overcame them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. All the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. The Lord added to their fellowship each day those who were being saved."

Our Core Values

Family

Family is our identity as a community. Love and honor are what make families healthy. Unity and belonging are how we desire to live as God leads us, His family, in perfect love. As sons and daughters adopted into God's family, we are submitted to the will of our Father and are about His business. As a family, we wholeheartedly serve one another and the world around us. (Read Psalm 133:1-3)

Discovery

Freedom to learn, grow, and explore through the process of discovery is a practice we value. We believe that exploration leads to lives of faith and adventure that will take us to places we've never been before. (Read Proverbs 25:2)

Prayer

We believe that as we come together, we are called to be His house of prayer for all nations; we exist to establish a continuous altar of prayer in our city and beyond. We do this locally through the regular practice of intercessory prayer in our Tribe Churches. We do this regionally and globally by gathering with like-minded believers from other communities. (Read James 5:16)

Discipleship

We are unapologetically on a journey to make Christ-centered and Holy Spirit-empowered disciples of Jesus who embrace the calling on their lives through discipleship and mentoring. (Read Matthew 28:18-20)

Worship

The act of worship is a precious gift given by God to believers. It is a powerful tool that helps us align our hearts with the Lordship of Christ. Worship is not limited to the songs we sing; it encompasses every aspect of our lives. We were created to worship, and this is something that we do continuously. We choose to worship God alone. (Read Colossians 3:16-17)

One New Man

The One New Man speaks of our identity and marriage as Jewish and Gentile people. Two people have become one people in Yeshua, Jesus. As a One New Man community, we celebrate and contend for the unfolding of God's plan to have a family consisting of all nations, tribes, and tongues. As a family and ministry, we join hands and hearts with the original host peoples of Turtle Island, the American and Canadian First Nations people, and our Jewish brothers and sisters. (Read Ephesians 2:11-22)

Statement of Faith

We have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe Jesus is God, the living Word, who became flesh. We believe He voluntarily atoned for our sins by dying on the cross. We believe He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, sent to inhabit, guide, and empower believers. We believe that salvation is a work of God's free grace and is not the result of human works, "being good," or participating in religious ceremonies.
(Romans 6:23, Romans 3:23-24, Ephesians 2:8, John 14:26, John 1:1-5, & John 1:14-18)

We Are Believing, Decreeing, and Praying:

Number One

Tribe Churches would be local houses of prayer from which the transforming power of Christ's abiding presence can be released into the neighborhoods where we live and work.

Number Two

Tribe Churches would be a beacon of light and hope, a light to the local community, and a city on a hill where the fragrance of prayer and worship arises. (Read Matthew 5 & Psalms 141)

Number Three

Tribe Churches would be places of healing, restoration, and health to our families, friends, communities, and strangers that we encounter.

Number Four

Tribe Churches would be places of fellowship where the presence of God can abide and transform lives through the work of The Holy Spirit in His body.

Number Five

Tribe Churches would be places where the Word of God is rightly divided and taught so that it can richly dwell in the hearts of His people.
