Ron Mentzer: Elder and Associate Director

Ron and Sarah Mentzer have been married since 2003 and are residents of Carlisle, PA. They are the founding members of Spirit Empowered Ministries and have a heart to see the Kingdom manifest on Earth. They have a desire to equip believers to step from being “knowers” of the word of God into being “doers” of the word of God.  They believe that Father God has given an invitation for us to walk in the light of a Holy Spirit led lifestyle.
Ron walks in an administrative leadership gift and Sarah functions in a prophetic gifting. Together, they listen to the heartbeat of Heaven and influence those within their sphere to partner with God. Prior to birthing Spirit Empowered Ministries, Sarah and Ron served as Elders at the Tree of Life Church in Carlisle, PA. Sarah is a graduate of Global Awakening School of Supernatural Ministry and Ron is a licensed minister through the Evangelical Church Alliance. They currently serve alongside other ministries like The Shalom Center and Connect Up locally. They share a kinship with Jesus in their openness to the Holy Spirit when he’s on-the-move and shaking things up. They aren’t afraid to follow, to hear and declare the words of the Lord, and treasure the present tense Presence of God.

Joshua Marsh: Associate Director of Arts

Josh Marsh is native to rural New Hampshire. His youth was filled with climbing tall trees and swimming in cold lakes.  His home was in the shadow of mountains, and it was there that he first fell in love with the God who created them. Searching for a way to respond to the beauty God had displayed in His creation, Josh learned how to play guitar and began to lead worship at his youth group. His Pursuit of touching The Great Creator's heart, led him to attend ministry school in Virginia. The years he spent there learning to follow the Spirit of God, solidified his dream of creating art that would mirror the awe he experienced as a child looking at mountains. That dream has led him to write songs, lead worship all over the country, form art and justice non-profits, and has been the driving passion of his life.
